For Students

Graduate Students

For general information about the graduate program in psychology, please go here.

Incoming graduate students will have the unique opportunity to conduct research with humans (adults and children) using a variety of behavioral research methods.

In addition to being part of the Cognitive Psychology program, students will be encouraged to actively participate in the Center for Language Science, that is comprised of researchers from many departments across the university.

Undergraduate Students

If you are an undergraduate in good academic standing (GPA 3.2 and above) and would like to get involved in the research involving adults, contact our PI Dan Weiss with introduction about yourself and your research interests, as well your resume and schedule for the semester you are applying for. It is best to get in touch before or at the beginning of each semester.

Be prepared to make a minimum of a 9 hour-per-week commitment if you would like to be in the lab (this includes a one hour lab meeting once every-other week). Up to 3 credits may be offered through an Independent Studies option (PSYCH 494).
